My latest custom altered tin!

by The Scrappin Mistress Email

The Scrappin Mistress

Using creative memories paper for a client that is sending this to a consultant from that company. I knew she would like the use of her companies products.

I glossed the top with mid podge to protect against wear and glazed the front design with Close To MY Heart's liquid glass. Then I had punched holes in the tin for the tags to hang and to run the yarn through the front of the lid. I rimmed the lid with a muted ribbon and then inked the lid and top of the ribbon for an aged look. Also sanded the top rim and bottom rim of the tin. A few embellishments and there we go, a beautiful tin!

Great tin! I love it! I haven't done any tin altering but I would love to try.

What CM paper did you use?

Its the Vintage papers and aren't they nice!? I wasn't really into CM papers much before because I always thought they were a tad boring, but now they are really getting into the trendy designs and distressed look and I LOVE IT.
